Humid summer air does the opposite of what crawl space vents were meant to do. Crawl space encapsulation is part of the lineup at Watkins Mechanical, which dates itself to 1999 and covers Beaufort, Bluffton and Hilton Head from Fairfield Road in Beaufort. The rest is HVAC: new construction installs, system replacements, maintenance, repairs, indoor air quality, duct and dryer vent cleaning and inspections, with emergency service around the clock.
Blue Jay Way on Hilton Head Island is where TemperaturePro of the Lowcountry is based, covering Bluffton too. It claims 19 years in the area and handles AC repair, replacement, installs and inspections, ductless systems, and air duct and dryer vent cleaning, for homes, businesses and industrial clients, around the clock.
Spray foam is the main line at Ecofoam Insulation and Coatings on Whyte Hardee Boulevard in Hardeeville, which claims more than 35 years in the building industry. It also applies specialty coatings and installs batt and blown-in insulation for new builds, existing and historic homes, metal buildings and commercial jobs, and its site mentions 0% APR financing.
An after-hours technician takes calls outside regular business hours at Anchor Air LC, a Beaufort heating and cooling company on Wickecliff Place. By its own account it's family-owned with more than twenty years of experience, and its site title lists geothermal alongside standard heating and air.
James Simmons founded Heritage Air Heating & Cooling in 2021, according to its website, which also describes it as family-owned and claims more than 15 years of experience. The shop is on Goettee Farm Road in Hardeeville and works across Beaufort and Jasper counties.
Critter Management Inc. calls itself the oldest and largest wildlife exclusion company in the Lowcountry, family run and working out of Hunter Road on Hilton Head Island. The crew traps and removes raccoons, squirrels, snakes, opossums, bats, skunks and rodents, then seals entry points so the animals don't get back in.
Mark and Elaine Senn run 843 Home Inspection in Beaufort, off State Road S-7-578. The report arrives electronically within 12 hours, according to the company, and it returns once at no cost to check that agreed repairs were done.

The company claims more than 30 years in the area, and its website lists additions, exterior renovations, outdoor living spaces and custom homes, along with a 2025 HHAHBA LightHouse Award.
Floor joists, beams, rim joists and pier columns are what Evolution In Action Home Remodeling & Crawl Space Foundation Repair fixes under the house. The company, listed on Lady's Island, dates itself to 1997 in the Savannah area and also does remodeling, room additions, renovations and fire restoration.
TJ Anderson started Atlantic Spray Foam after moving to Bluffton in 2008, according to the company's website, and runs it as an owner-operated crew from Browns Cove Road in Ridgeland. Spray foam is the main product, which the company describes as American-made, though Google also lists cellulose and fiberglass insulation, air sealing, crawl space insulation and crawl space drainage.
Low- to non-toxic products are the selling point at Premo Pest Services, an Okatie-based company covering Ridgeland and Okatie. Treatment plans run from one-time visits to annual, quarterly, every-other-month or monthly, and after-hours service is available, per its description.
Tabby work, brick and steps all show up in reviews of MAJ Enterprises Inc, a concrete contractor on Spanish Wells Road on Hilton Head. It cuts, levels, repairs and resurfaces concrete, builds driveways, sidewalks, footings and parking lots, and does crawl space foundations.
From an address on 9th Street in Port Royal, B2 Home Inspections handles pre-purchase, pre-listing and 11-month warranty inspections. Crawl space checks, drone roof inspections, rental and multi-unit properties and annual maintenance checkups are also listed.
On Industrial Park Road in Hardeeville, Coastal Foam sprays open cell foam and installs fiberglass in attics and crawl spaces for new and existing homes and commercial buildings, covering Bluffton and Beaufort as well. The list also includes air and moisture barriers and soffit vents, and the company offers several options at different budgets, with the estimate itself free.
Roofing, siding, full renovations and outdoor living spaces are the four specialties Tidepoint Construction Group lists on its website. The Hilton Head company claims more than 25 years of combined experience and also builds decks, custom homes and additions, with kitchen and bath remodels in the mix.
Mold and indoor air are the whole focus for Green Home Solutions, which works out of Bluffton and covers Beaufort as well. A TruTeam company, by its own account, Valley Insulation installs from a location on Speedway Boulevard in Hardeeville. Attic, ceiling, floor and crawl space insulation are the main work, for remodels, new builds and commercial jobs, but Google also lists garage door installs and keypads, closet shelving, bathroom hardware and gutter cleaning.
Foundations are the core of the list at Bello Foundation on Stoney Crossing in Bluffton: slab and crawl space foundations, footings and retaining walls. The company also pours driveways and sidewalks, repairs driveways and takes on demolition.
David Gaskins Sr. started Insulation by Cohen's in the Charleston area, by the company's account, and his sons David and Ethan later joined to spread it across the Carolinas and Georgia. The website says family owned since 1976 and lists branches as far off as Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida, so the Kingsbury Street location in Hardeeville is one of many.

Crawl space repair and encapsulation make up most of the work customers describe at Lowcountry Foundation and Crawl Space Repair, along with thorough inspections, on-time arrivals and staff who know the subject. The company runs from Commercial Court in Rincon, Georgia, and covers Bluffton as part of a territory that reaches Savannah, Macon and Charleston.
Carpet, rug and tile cleaning sit right alongside the disaster work at Clark Clean - Mold and Water Restoration of Ga and SC, which runs out of a shop on Richards Street in Savannah. From an office on US Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia, 1-800 Water Damage of Savannah, Hilton Head and surrounding areas covers the stretch from Savannah to Hilton Head, its site says. The work covers water extraction, pipe bursts, flood and sewage cleanup including septic and toilet overflows, mold removal, fire and smoke damage, and the flooring and remodeling that follow.
Manufactured home inspections come up more than anything else in ClearView Home Inspections' reviews, along with an easy process and a timely report. The inspector works from Locust Fence Road on St. Helena Island and names Beaufort, Jasper and Colleton Counties as its main territory.
Guyton, Georgia is home base for Oliver Concrete LLC on Burnt Tree Drive, and its site lists Hardeeville, Bluffton, Beaufort and Hilton Head among the places it works. The company advertises 20 years of concrete experience and pours foundations, driveways, patios and sidewalks for new construction and homes, along with leveling, repairs and crawl space foundations.
Matthew Watkins started the business in 2010, according to its Google description, which adds that he has been working on pipes since age 12. Its website now presents it as Watkins Mechanical, with HVAC maintenance, system replacement, air filtration and crawl space encapsulation in addition to plumbing leaks, clogs and water heaters.
Roofing foam and polyurea, silicone and acrylic coatings are on the menu at East Coast Foam, along with the usual insulation. From Trask Parkway in Seabrook it serves Beaufort with open and closed cell spray foam, fiberglass batts and insulation removal for homes, builders and commercial property, and it describes itself as locally owned.
