Decks · Okatie, SC
Railings and steps get as much attention as boards on many Okatie deck jobs. Owners often want a low rise, wide treads and a sturdy rail on both sides of the stairs, or a ramp in place of them. A deck attached to the house almost always needs a permit, and on the Beaufort County side the zoning permit comes before the building permit, so leave time for both.
Based in Okatie
Steel, wood and composite framing, waterproof decks and under-deck systems show how far into the deck trade Kamtreyurias Renovations goes. The Okatie-based company works with wood, composite and PVC decking, aluminum railing and low-voltage lighting, refinishes exotic wood, sands, stains and restores older decks, and builds pergolas.
Decks, siding, roofing and painting all fall under Herrera Construction, which works from Traders Cross in Okatie and covers Hardeeville too. The company says it has served the Hardeeville area for 10 years.

Dominic Bradley owns Lune Valley Painting, which works out of Bellhaven Way on Hilton Head Island and covers Bluffton and Okatie. Paint is the main trade, inside and out, including cabinets and furniture, but the crew also rebuilds, stains and refinishes decks, repairs and hangs drywall, pressure washes and takes down popcorn ceilings.
Lanais, including lanai repairs, come up more than anything else in reviews of Backyard Oasis SC, along with caring staff and steady communication. From Old Place in Bluffton, the company builds custom pools and spas, screened porches, patio enclosures, paver patios, pool decks, pavilions, pergolas and outdoor kitchens, handling design, engineered plans and permitting itself.
