Sunrooms and Screened Porches · Beaufort, SC
Turning an open porch into a screened room or a sunroom changes how the house sheds water and how the roof ties in. On a raised house, the porch often sits on its own piers, and new walls add weight to them. A city address gets its permit from the City, and one just outside the limits goes to the county. Ask whether the builder will check the footings.
